• Mentored two undergraduate students (UAR & UGVR program) working on solid state electrolyte, one student with first author manuscript & patent in preparation
• Supervised one undergraduate student (REU program) & one high school student on batteries. Under my guidence, the undergraduate student awarded a undergraduate research grant from UAR program at Stanford
• Participated "HHMI’s Teaching Resources for Student-Centered Learning"
At the University of Maryland
• Trained two PhD students who published as first authors on Nano Letters and ACS Applied Materials & interfaces, respectively. Under my guidence, one PhD student awarded prestigous NDSEG fellowship from DOD
• Coached two master students who published as co-first authors on Nano Letters and ACS Nano, respectively
• Mentored five undergraduate students (REU program) working on 2D materials for Li ion batteries, designed/lectured fundamentals for batteries research series to them and guide the students with basic battery research knowledge, techniques, and characterizations
• Supervised five undergraduate students (one published first author Nano Energy)
